This is where you will find the experimental podcasts by Jaime, Joe, and the rest of the 420Rx crew, produced at the 420Rx Multimedia MegaPlex in Cape Coral, Florida.
Jaime and Joe give their completely unqualified and highly biased impressions of songs that hit #1 on the mainstream Billboard charts during the 1980s. We apologize in advance for what you are about to suffer through.
420Rx has started production of a music criticism and nostalgia podcast. We produced a pilot episode early in 2019 but never released it. Though a few changes are already being made, this teaser gives you an idea of what it may sound like. Future episodes will involve music and events from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, but this episode concentrates on music popular in the late 1960s.
The Music When… The Jonestown Massacre happened on November 18, 1978. Top 40 hits are counted down with additional music criticism by amateur music critics. Joe Cripe and Jaime Renee Cruz co-host a fast paced presentation of a chart dominated by disco and ballads, with enough hard rock sprinkled throughout to keep the chart popping.
This is a traditional Top 40 countdown show with musical criticism from amateur music reviewers. This episode counts down the Top 40 hits from Billboard’s Hot 100. We also visit some news and trivia from August, 1981, and discuss chart trivia from that particular chart. It’s our third episode of TMW, and we are getting better at structuring and engineering the podcast. We hope you enjoy!
